Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LinkVault ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Pascal Ventura ("Developer", "we", "us").

2. Description of Service

LinkVault is a link-saving and organisation application for personal, non-commercial use. It allows you to save, organise, and retrieve web links, documents, and media; optionally enrich content with AI-generated summaries and tags; and optionally sync your library across devices.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use LinkVault only for lawful purposes. You agree not to: use the app for illegal or harmful content; attempt to reverse-engineer any part of the app; interfere with the servers or networks used to provide the service; or circumvent any security features.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated summaries, tags, and categories are provided for informational and organisational purposes only. We make no warranties regarding their accuracy or completeness. Do not rely on AI-generated content for important decisions without independent verification.

AI enrichment is powered in part by OpenRouter and third-party AI model providers; their terms and policies also apply to AI processing.

5. Intellectual Property

The app: LinkVault and all associated intellectual property are owned by Pascal Ventura. Your content: The links and content you save remain yours. By using the sync feature, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your content solely to provide the service.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for loss of data, interruptions to AI services, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the preceding 12 months.

7. Account and Data Deletion

Stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app. To delete your account and cloud data, contact us at legal@pve.ch.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend access if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (IP, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) shall do so.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland, unless consumer protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
